Course Description:

   This course is designed to provide expert gas chromatography testing for petroleum, petroleum refined products, natural gas, LPG gases, petrochemicals, and other chemicals and materials. The course operates hundreds of gas chromatographs in GC labs across different stages of production operations, providing evaluation and interpretation of GC analysis results to achieve high level of accuracy.


    The course is designed to complyASTM, ISO, standards and other recognized methods.


   The course includes also the practical maintenance where the important parts of GC aredemonstrated i.e. inject system part, different liner and syringes, maintenance kit,different columns type, TCD, FID, ECD, FPD detectors, and other accessory parts which is variable used.

Who should attend?

   Laboratories chemists and lab technicians in oil fields, power stations, , chemical and petrochemical industries, and in oil refineries,etc.

Curse objectives:

      After completion this course, laboratory managers, staff, and others who might be affected should:

               • To introduce participants to Fundamentals of gas chromatography and how the individual

                   elements interrelate.

               • To be able to competently use methods on a gas chromatograph to produce robust and valid

                   analytical data.

               • To provide a knowledge of gas chromatography operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.

               • To impart the participants advance techniques and knowledge of principles of gas

               • To provide good laboratory practices for accurate and reliable analyses.
