Course Description:

   This course is designed to discuss the methods, equipment and tolls used for water quality parameters and testing Technologies. The course includes all aspects related to Pressure Maintenance Plants (PMP), HP injection systems, Seawater Treatment Plant, Central Injection Pumping Facility (SWTP, CIPF & CIPF Extension) and application in Process plant for improving water quality parameters and Salt water disposal.

   This course is designed in accordance with ASTM/API Standard procedures

   In addition, this course is aimed at those who work with or around chemicals. Successful completion will prepare participants to look carefully at their own work activities when handling chemicals and contribute to the safer use and transport of chemicals in the workplace. It further goes on to teach the proper steps to control and reduce losses in the event of a spill.

   This training course is the fastest way to develop skills in effective decision making so that goals can be reached on time every time. This process works for any kind of problem, large or small. This course gives participants an overview of the entire creative problem-solving process, as well as key problem-solving tools that can be used every day.

Course Objectives:

         By the end of this Course the participant will be able to:

               • Describe Analytical chemistry methods and Instruments technique

               • Describe chemistry of Water, Produced water, Seawater

               • Use all methods for calibration.

               • Use statistical method according to ISO 17025 requirements

               • Describe what is the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and its importance in modern

                   laboratories and in technology transfer


               • Describe water analysis parameters according to EPA, IP, ASTM, API, and APHA standards.

               • Describe Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)

               • Describe NFPA Labeling system

               • Describe Proper PPE for the various chemicals

               • Safely handle chemical containers


               • Safe storage of chemicals, protection needs and containment

               • Take actions and Precautions in the event of a spill

               • Limit a chemical spill disaster

               • Properly use a spill containment kit and clean up a chemical spill

               • Handle the chemical waste and used spill kit components


               • Apply problem-solving steps and tools

               • Analyze information to clearly describe problems

               • Identify appropriate solutions

               • Think creatively and be a contributing member of a problem-solving team

               • Select the best approach for making decisions
